Tora the german shepherd

It was so lovely to meet Tora for the first time and photograph her at Pamphill in the spring sunshine. With the bluebells in bloom, the blossom trees overhead and all the fresh greenery, it was such a beautiful setting for her session.

Tora is such a stunning German Shepherd, with the most gorgeous coat and such an expressive face. She looked amazing in every spot we used, from the bluebell-lined paths to the wider open views across Pamphill. She has such a striking presence, but also such a softness in her expression that made her a dream to photograph.

For Tora’s shoot, she needed to stay on lead, which is absolutely no problem at all. It is something I work with often, and I have edited the lead out of the final images so her gallery still has that natural, polished feel. It is a great reminder that dogs do not need to be off lead to have beautiful portraits taken.

This session was such a lovely mix of elegant portraits and more natural moments with her owner, and I am so pleased with what we captured together. Tora was an absolute star, and Pamphill was the perfect backdrop for her first shoot with me.
