Hi, I’m Sophie.

Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. I have had a real passion for taking photographs from a very young age and up until the last couple of years it has always been just for fun, often photographing my partner and two children, family and friends and pets.

I spent most of 2023 being taught so much creative knowledge by the wonderful Angela De Groot, whom I owe a lot for providing me with so much support along my journey into professional photography - Thank you for giving me so many skills, support and advice that I find myself considering in everything that I capture.

My biggest passion lies in pet photography, capturing the unique personalities and special moments of beloved animals. I especially love documenting the candid interactions between pets and their owners, highlighting the joy they bring to each other’s lives. Whether outdoors on a forest walk or in a cozy home setting, I’m always drawn to photographing animals in their natural environments. Alongside pets, I also enjoy capturing wildlife, nature, and cherished moments with my own family.

Where do your photo shoots take place?

I travel throughout Dorset, offering versatile shoots tailored to you — a scenic outdoor session at the beach or woodland, or on location at your business or home. I specialise in on-location photography and don’t currently offer a studio service.

How much will my photo shoot cost?

Cost depends on the type of photography, location, duration and your specific requirements. I offer tailored packages for everything from corporate headshots and pet portraits to events and property. Get in touch for a personalised quote that fits your needs and budget.

When will I receive my edited photos?

I take great care over every image and typically deliver your final photos within 28 days of your session. If you have a tighter deadline, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

How long will my photo shoot take?

It depends on the session. A corporate headshot typically lasts about an hour, while pet portraits may take a little longer so your furry friend feels relaxed. Events and property shoots can run several hours. Every session is tailored so we’re never rushed.

What locations do you cover?

I currently cover most of Dorset including Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wimborne, Blandford, Wareham and the surrounding areas.

Sophie did the most amazing photo shoot with my 3 dogs. She is so patient and able to capture the true character of the dogs in the most beautiful way. She had her work cut out for her dealing with a bunch of young labradors being a 1 year old, 2 year old and 10 week who wanted to kiss her every time she was on the floor (which was 95% of the time) but somehow she still produced stunning photos of them all. I cannot recommend her highly enough so if you want a fantastic experience with amazing results this is who you need. Thanks again for a wonderful experience for us all.
