The Dorset Dog Trainer

I recently photographed a lovely group dog shoot at Upton Country Park, booked by Jack from The Dorset Dog Trainer for his competition-winning class.

Jack specialises in dog behaviour, training and nosework, helping owners across Dorset with everything from reactivity and anxiety to recall, loose lead walking and confidence building. His work is all about helping people create their “ideal dog” through supportive, practical training.

For this session, I photographed seven dogs, capturing a mix of individual portraits, owner-and-dog photos and natural moments in between. Upton Country Park gave us a beautiful outdoor backdrop, with plenty of green space, soft spring colours and relaxed surroundings.

Each dog brought their own personality to the shoot, from big smiles and cheeky expressions to calm, focused portraits. It was a lovely way to celebrate the class and the hard work they had put in with Jack.
