Red the Cavapoo

Just before Christmas, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Red — a gorgeous Cavapoo with the sweetest little face — down at Sandbanks. And this shoot was extra special because it wasn’t just a photo session… it was a surprise.

The plan was to create a set of beautiful images that could be gifted to someone for Christmas, and honestly, I love how thoughtful that is. Photos of a beloved dog aren’t just “nice pictures” — they’re memories, personality, and that unmistakable them captured forever.

Sandbanks was the perfect backdrop. Soft winter light, wide open beach, and plenty of space for Red to have a little explore (and a zoom, of course). We kept everything relaxed and fun, letting Red be himself — which is always where the best photos come from. Those little moments… the head tilts, the curious eyes, the fluffy ears in the breeze… they’re the ones that make you smile every time you look back.
