I absolutely adore this breed and never tire of having these wonderful gentle giants in front of my camera.

we captured a mixture of portraits, natural moments with her owner and a few lovely wide shots showing just how tiny she looked surrounded by the towering flowers.
Margot is no stranger to being in front of my camera. I’ve photographed this gorgeous miniature dachshund in several different environments over the last year from woodland walks to the beach, but this was our first time among the sunflowers.
We met at North Farm in Horton for an evening photo shoot, when the lowering sun filled the field with warm golden light. Margot’s little sunflower harness was perfect for the setting, and we captured a mixture of portraits, natural moments with her owner and a few lovely wide shots showing just how tiny she looked surrounded by the towering flowers.
One of my favourite things about photographing the same dog over time is creating a collection of memories across different places and stages of their life. Each shoot feels familiar, but changing the location brings something completely new—and the sunflowers made a beautiful backdrop for Margot’s latest gallery.
