Koda and Cosmo

One of the nicest things about photographing dogs more than once is being able to capture another chapter of their story

It was so lovely to photograph Koda the Leonberger and Cosmo again at Hengistbury Head at the end of March. I have photographed this duo a few times before, and every session with them feels just as special as the last.

Hengistbury Head was the perfect setting, with the reeds, shoreline and soft evening light creating such a beautiful backdrop. March is such a lovely time for a dog photo shoot too, with quieter beaches and that gentle golden light that makes everything feel calm and atmospheric.

Koda is such a striking dog with his huge presence and gentle nature, while Cosmo brings so much character and charm. Together they make such a wonderful pair. I loved capturing a mix of portraits, playful moments and those action shots that really show off their personalities.

One of the nicest things about photographing dogs more than once is being able to capture another chapter of their story. Every shoot is different, but always just as meaningful.

Sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do. Beautiful Dorset scenery, two wonderful dogs, and memories that will be treasured for years to come.
