I recently photographed Charlie, a rescue German Shepherd, at a private woodland enclosure in Ferndown. His family booked a legacy session as Charlie is nearing the end of his journey and is due to cross Rainbow Bridge very soon.

These sessions are never just about photographs. They are about slowing everything down, giving space for cuddles, treats, gentle moments and all the little details that make a dog so loved. Charlie was surrounded by his family, in the warm evening light, in a place where he could simply be himself.

It was a privilege to capture him with the people who love him so deeply.
