These gentle 20 minute sessions are the perfect way to capture beautiful, natural moments with your much-loved companion — the grey faces, wise eyes, slower steps, favourite toys, and all the little details that make them so special.
Photos can be of just your dog, or you can be included too for some heartfelt “me and my dog” portraits. These sessions are perfect if you have been wanting updated photos together, a meaningful keepsake, or simply a lovely experience with your best friend.
Senior dog sessions are calm, relaxed and completely dog-led, with time for breaks, cuddles and plenty of patience. They are ideal for older dogs who may not want a full length shoot but still deserve beautiful memories to treasure.

These sessions take place outdoors and may need to be rescheduled to another date in the event of poor weather.

Absolutely! This mini session, although tailored for senior dogs can include younger dogs too. You can also bring along a younger sibling dog with your senior dog if you want to.

Due to this being a one off event, rescheduling isn't possible. However I would be happy to put the value of your booking towards a full photo shoot with me.
If the weather is too poor for your session to go ahead, your booking will be moved to an alternative Sunday date in September/October 2026.
I was part of the Senior Sunday shoot which I loved the idea of. Sophie was very accommodating. She’s lovely and easy to talk to, with a calming presence. She took some beautiful photos of my dog, despite her not being the easiest to photograph!
From the minute we met Sophie we knew she was a 'doggy person'! She took everything in her stride and made both my dog and myself felt so comfortable and at ease. Although I had to run around like a crazy person at times, I was reassured with Sophie shouting 'JUST DO YOU, I AM QUICK!! KEEP GOING!!' and belly laughing whilst she got herself into all sorts of positions to capture my dogs personality! There was zero pressure to 'make' my dog do things, which is exactly the type of photos i've been after and I'm so grateful that I now have these photos to cherish for a lifetime! Thank you Sophie <3
