Rusty - Sunflowers

Rusty is a lovely boy I’ve had the pleasure of photographing many times before, from sandy beach adventures to walks across the heathland. This time, we swapped those familiar surroundings for a summer evening among the sunflowers at North Farm in Horton.

It’s always a joy to welcome Rusty and his mum back. He’s such a gentle, handsome boy and a complete natural in front of the camera. The warm evening light and colourful flowers made the perfect backdrop for his latest collection of portraits.

I love watching the dogs I photograph grow and capturing them in different places throughout their lives. Rusty’s sunflower session was another lovely chapter to add to his story. 🌻🐾
