One of the highlights of the day was watching these pups splash around in the muddy puddles.
I recently joined Paws and Progress on one of their training walks with two enthusiastic dogs at St Catherine’s Hill in Christchurch, Dorset. The morning light was absolutely gorgeous—bright sunshine pouring through the trees, creating a beautiful natural stage for our photo session. From the moment we arrived, both dogs were full of energy and curiosity, eager to explore the hill and soak in every new scent. The setting allowed me to capture the playful nature of their training routine, as well as the calm, focused moments when their handler guided them through important commands.
One of the highlights of the day was watching these pups splash around in the muddy puddles. They couldn’t resist diving right in, ears flopping and tails wagging, and it made for some fantastic action shots! It was clear that the training walks aren’t just about learning—they’re also about having fun and building a strong bond between the dogs and their handler. Throughout the session, I focused on showing the joy, excitement, and progress these dogs experienced. The final images tell a story of two happy, determined pups working hard on their skills while thoroughly enjoying a sunny morning adventure in a beautiful part of Dorset.
