Dougie & Barney – The Bordoodle Cousins

Some sessions are just pure joy — and photographing Dougie and Barney, two Bordoodle cousins with serious charm, was exactly that.

We met on a warm spring morning in the beautiful bluebell woods near Wimborne, where the light danced through the trees and the flowers were in full bloom. Dressed to impress in their best bow ties (red velvet and heart print, no less), Dougie and Barney were ready for their close-ups from the moment they arrived.

From regal poses among the purple blooms to playful glances at one another, the boys made this shoot feel more like a mini woodland adventure. Their bond was so sweet — lots of nose boops, tail wags, and moments of perfect synchronicity as they explored the trails together.

🌿 As always, we were careful to stick to paths and cleared areas to protect the delicate bluebells — no flowers were harmed in the making of these portraits!

After our time in the woods, we made our way to an open field nearby for some extra fun. There were belly flops, grass rolls, and even a cheeky bit of stick munching. They ended the session cooling off in the shade, perched on a sunlit bench with tongues out and big smiles all around.
