Baloo and Estia on the beach

Sandbanks sessions with familiar faces are my favourite 💛

Last weekend I got to catch up with Baloo the black Chow Chow and beautiful Estia, his rescue sister. It’s the second time I’ve photographed these two with their owner and they somehow get even more full of character (and a little bit sandier!) every time.

Baloo was in his element, thundering around kicking sand everywhere (he looks like he's doing a moon walk when he does this!), his big fluffy mane catching the sea breeze. Estia took everything in with her gentle eyes, sticking close to her person and sneaking in cuddle breaks between photos – she really is such a special girl.

We mixed in some action shots on the shoreline with quieter moments with both of them soaking up the view and leaning in for fuss. Watching the bond between them and their owner is just the sweetest thing, and I’m so grateful I get to capture moments like these x
