A Morning with Norman at Pamphill

I had such a lovely morning with Norman and his pawrent Jenny at the beautiful Pamphill in Dorset — one of my absolute favourite spots to photograph in, and a place that holds a special meaning for me. It’s actually where my photography journey first began over the last couple of years, capturing wildlife amongst the woodland. So being back there, camera in hand, this time photographing Norman the Jack Russell, felt like things had come full circle.

Norman was an absolute joy from the moment we started. Full of energy and personality, he couldn’t wait to show off his playful side — especially when his beloved squeaky balls came out! 🎾 His enthusiasm was infectious, darting through the autumn leaves and stopping just long enough to flash me the most perfect smile for the camera.

Pamphill looked stunning in its warm autumn colours, and Norman’s bright eyes and wagging tail made every frame shine with life. It’s sessions like this that remind me exactly why I love what I do — capturing the connection, joy and pure character that make our pets so special.

A huge thank you to Jenny for such a lovely, relaxed session — Norman was an absolute star, and I couldn’t have asked for a better morning. 🧡
