This was my first time photographing at Middle Beach and honestly, what a beautiful spot. Sand, sea, dunes, dramatic skies… and one very happy black lab living his absolute best life.
Stan was such a character. He ran, splashed, posed beautifully with his lovely human, and then showed me one of the funniest little quirks I’ve ever seen on a shoot.
He would find a rock, bury it in the sand, then carefully nudge it all the way down to the sea with his nose and paws to wash it off… only to bring it back and try to bury it again 😆
Apparently he’s done this since he was a puppy, which made it even sweeter. Those are the little things I love capturing most. Not just how your dog looks, but who they are.
