There is something very special about photographing dogs together, especially when they are all from the same breed. I recently had the absolute joy of photographing five beautiful Leonbergers — Duckie, Ember, Ozzie, Koda and Alfie — during a dog meet-up photoshoot on the beach.
I was joined by all of their lovely owners, some of which I had met before. With five Leonbergers together, there was always something happening — from calm group portraits on the sand to suddenly splashing through the water, digging, playing and plenty of sandy, soggy fur! I LOVED the incredible chaos of this shoot!!
One of the things I love most about dog meet-up sessions is how different every dog is, even within the same breed. Duckie, Ember, Ozzie, Koda and Alfie each brought their own character to the shoot, and it was so lovely to capture them both as a group and as individuals.
I now offer dog meet-up photoshoots for up to 6 dogs, which are perfect for breed groups, dog walking friends or owners who would love to share the cost of a photoshoot. It is a lovely way to get beautiful professional photos of your dog while making it a fun experience with friends too.
Whether you have a group of Leonbergers, Labradors, Spaniels, Dachshunds or Frenchies or something else; dog meet-up photoshoots are a brilliant way to capture your dogs together in a natural, relaxed setting.
If you would like to organise your own dog meet-up photoshoot, I would love to hear from you.
