Luna and Neville

One of the things I love most about puppy photo shoots is how quickly this stage passes. Those fluffy coats, tiny faces and playful little moments change so fast.

This photo shoot felt especially special because I have photographed Luna a couple of times before, including her very first walk at Pamphill when she was just 12 weeks old. It is always such a lovely feeling to see a dog again as they grow, but returning to the very same spot with Luna and meeting her new little brother Neville made this session even more meaningful.

Neville is now 16 weeks old, and he was such a joy to photograph. He had that perfect mix of puppy curiosity and sweetness, taking everything in with those little expressions that change by the second. Luna, on the other hand, looked so confident and settled, and it was really lovely to see her in this new role as big sister. Together they made such a gorgeous pair.

Pamphill was the perfect place for their session. The soft spring light, the fresh greenery and the woodland paths made such a beautiful backdrop for them both. There is something so timeless about photographing dogs there, and it felt even more special knowing it was the place where Luna once had her own first little adventure.

One of the things I love most about puppy photo shoots is how quickly this stage passes. Those fluffy coats, tiny faces and playful little moments change so fast. Sessions like this are about more than just beautiful photos. They are about holding on to a chapter that will be gone before you know it.

For Luna’s family, this shoot captured another piece of her story, while also documenting the start of Neville’s. I loved seeing them together, exploring, posing and settling into the moment side by side. It was such a lovely session, and such a special one to photograph.
